the restauarant is good and the pisco sours are excelent, nice hotel with a feeling to be at a resort with the nice pool in the centre, the parking lot is big enough and is close to the rooms

The staff is very nice and the pool was a great plus, the spa was also a nice bonus with fair prices

The shower was not good with a not strong power of water, the breakfast was good if you arrive early, but for the days when you arrive after 9h the buffet was missing a load of itens

Nice hotel, pool and staff, but the service was very slow.

The pool area was great and the food and drinks were good. Also, the staff were all friendly and helpful.

The hotel is 5 star, but I think it is missing some aspects to be 5 star. For example, there was no free water or coffee in the room and service was very slow. At times, we did not get served at all when we wanted a drink and had to call over the waiter to take our food order.

Wonderful

On the outskirts of town, just off the PanAmericana, this hotel was super convenient for us as it meant we had no need to go into town after a long day on the road. It has very well kept grounds and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We appreciated the welcome drink (a Pisco Sour or something soft) There is a secure carpark to the rear of the building. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was good, and I must mention the restaurant manager who, I think, aware that we were kept waiting initially, looked after us well. Breakfast was a decent buffet.

The staff in the bar seemed a bit unsure of what they should be doing, and we waited a long time to get any drinks, and only got some after I went up to the bar. Getting a bottle of wine to our table took forever. In the restaurant we stood there like lemons waiting for some attention from the staff. Why did they think we'd wandered in?

Tranquilo Place

It was so impressive first, large swimming pool was placed in the mid of central yard. Visitors can get a energy during relaxation on the pool area. Gym in the hotel was comfortable to exercise. Above all, the environment around the hotel was good as the natural large backyard with green grass, sculptures and tall trees.

There was water in the middle corridor of the room, but it was not cleaned on time.

Wonderful

Exceptional pool, excellent variety and quality of food for breakfast, interesting llamas around hotel, nice green area surrounding hotel, nice concept of rooms around pool, big and not crowded parking, friendly staff.

Not enough variety of meals for lunch/dinner, plenty food from menu not available, food is served cold.

The bathroom wasn’t 100% clean ando some of the infrastructure looks old or cracked.

Very nice stay

There were no negative points about the property except maybe for being a bit expensive but the again you do get the service. The breakfast was absolutely fabulous!

The only downside is that you have to take a taxi to get anywhere. It is about 20 minutes ride from the plaza de armas. The other downside is that you pay more going into town than you do going to the hotel from the town.

The pool in the middle and the gardens looked really nice. Trujillo is a loud a busy city and this place is located in a very quiet and silent place.
